19th c.George III Silver Plate Adam Style Neoclassical Coffee Pot

Description

We are offering this fine Adam style neoclassical silver plate coffee pot that dates to the 19th.c.  It is oval in plan and features gadrooned or reeded sides.  The fine tropical hardwood handle balances perfectly with ogee curved spout.  The pedestal features a reeded molding at its base and the top of the pot has a beaded molding on its edge.  The perfectly fitting hinged oval lid has a ball finial.  There is almost no "bleed through" on this fine coffee pot and it has no notable dents or scratches.  It is 11" tall and is 10.5" wide from the edge of the handle to the tip of the spout.
