    Description

‘Have nothing in your houses that you do not consider to be beautiful or useful.’
    William Morris
French Antique Small Chocolatière/ Chocolate Pot/Pourer- Christofle Gallia
A smaller size, individual silverplated chocolate pot/pourer – known as a chocolatière – created by Christofle Gallia.
It measures 6 inches high and is 7 inches at its widest points, including the detachable mahogany handle, making it very easy to clean.
It is very similar to the regular large size chocolatière in late 1930’s catalogues.
The interior is perfectly clean and the exterior has few traces of surface wear.
It is stamped and hallmarked on the bottom.
The lid hinge is very secure and the handle fits perfectly.
Such a size is quite rare and is perfect for a breakfast tray or for a late evening cup of chocolate.
