Description

The FT Synthetics Hydra Synthetic Underlayment is made to add an extra layer of protection from water, but also release trapped moisture from poor attic ventilation. Hydra is made with an internal monolithic membrane that utilizes an advanced chemical transfer of water vapor and provides protection through acting as a liquid water barrier that provides phenomenal vapor permeability under all weather conditions. Hydra has a new HYDRY technology added into it that is made to take up the issue of water on the roof deck during installation. HYDRY is made to quickly absorb water from the roof deck and transfer it. HYDRY transfers water at a rate that is 15 times faster than the leading breathable synthetic underlayment and is 10 times the traditional #30 felt. HYDRY technology provides swift roof deck drying, reduction in mold growth, and also, helps avoid roof deck rot.
