A couple of things to consider before i explain how to install them;
1) First is to make sure you use only small drops of glue in case you need to remove them.
2) Another thing that can effect the strenght of downforce is tire height ...Stock height tires work best & taller tires decrease the amount of downforce as smaller diameter tires increase the downforce (thousanths can make a huge difference)
3) For Tomy/AFX/Autoworld Track you can install them the way described below - Tomy Is The Most Consistent Plastic Track Made

You Get 4 Pair Enough To Upgrade 4 Cars / Designed by Myself (Slot Car Finds) ...I Call These "Magic Magnets" / I Had These Specially Made To Take Advantage Of A Chassis Design IN Tomy's SG+ Chassis / They Are Level 52 Magnet Slabs That Fit Exactly In The Space Between The Chassis Side Rail and The Motor Magnet Cutout or Shelf That Runs Along The Motor Magnet (See Picture) / Also Available In Level 42 / See My Other Auctions !!
The Great Thing About These Is They  Provide Incredible Mid-Chassis Downforce helping keep the nose of the car planted ...And because these are mounted away from the other traction magnets they can be added to an already hopped up Chassis

Install Is Pretty Simple ...You'll Need The Following ...Please Read Instructions several time before installing !
First Remove The Plastic Dust Cover From The Bottom Of The Motor And Take Note Of The Slots It Came From
1) A small flat blade hobby screwdriver with a blade small enough to fit in the hole vacated by the motor dust cover - This is important to have to be able to maneuver the magnet when installing.
2) A thin flat hobby file to be able to remove a small amount of material from the inside of the side rail to allow the magnet to drop into place(Magnet should lay perfectly flat along the motor magnet) easily between the rail and the shelf (This is your glue point) that runs along the motor magnet before gluing ...Use Your Screwdriver - Once your completely sure you can drop the magnet easily into place and remove it several times to be sure ...Then your ready to glue - Some of the earlier SG+ Chassis were molded very poorly.
3) You'll need a gel type adhesive such as Super Glue Gel or Gorilla Glue - Be sure to apply only very small drops in case you make a mistake and have to remove the magnet - Remember you can always reglue if the magnets come off ...but if you use to much and make a mistake ...they are much tougher to remove.
4) Now it's glue time - the magnets provided have there North Pole Marked with magic marker - Magnets pull south to north so for the strongest install you would want both magnets with the marked side glued to the motor magnet - but magnet installs suggest though that you place one magnet south side down & one south side up ...whichever you choose will work fine - Install of one magnet at a time is crucial ..your glue will dry very fast and if you have trouble with the first magnet there may not be eough time to get the other side in before it's glue dries - Place 2 small drops of adhesive along cutout in the motor magnet and go head and sit your magnet down (Place your hobby screwdriver into the dust cover slot to help you maneuver the magnet into place) Now repeat the same steps for the other side ...Wait a few minutes and your ready to test ...Have A Blast !!!
