    Description

For your consideration is this large slabbed specimen of rich silver ore featuring bands of black acanthite with and in brownish sphalerite and white barite matrix from the Bulldog Mountain mine, Creede, Mineral County Colorado USA. Shows beautiful epithermal banding with barite crystals outlined by acanthite and other ore minerals.
This is a great example of an unusual and seldom seen type of high-grade silver ore from a classic Colorado locality, collected by miner Daniel Aldrich Sr. in the mid 1970's. Classic!
    Specimen Dimensions: 10 x 6.5 x 1.1 cm. Weight: 341 grams
