    Description

For your consideration is this specimen of very rich silver ore featuring bright native silver with black acanthite in a barite matrix from the 67 stope, 9360-9500' Levels, Bulldog Mountain mine, Creede, Mineral County Colorado USA. Shows beautiful epithermal ore textures with barite crystals outlined by acanthite and silver.
This is a great example of high-grade silver ore from a classic Colorado locality, collected by miner Daniel Aldrich Sr. in the mid 1970's. The 67 stope silver find is legendary among Colorado mineral finds and this is a chance to acquire a good example of this prized material from an old collection. Lightly polished on one face. Classic!
