    Description

    For your consideration is this large slabbed specimen of very rich silver ore featuring bands of bright native silver with black acanthite in barite matrix from the 67 stope, 9360-9500' Levels, Bulldog Mountain mine, Creede, Mineral County Colorado USA. Shows beautiful epithermal banding with barite crystals outlined by acanthite and silver.
    This is a great example of high-grade silver ore from a classic Colorado locality, collected by miner Daniel Aldrich Sr. in the mid 1970's. The 67 stope silver find is legendary among Colorado mineral finds and this is a chance to acquire a good example of this prized material from an old collection. Classic!
