    Description

Silver-Plated Pottery Barn Airplane Teapot -
Really unusual and cute silver plated Tea Pot shaped like an airplane. Water/tea comes out from the center of the propeller. Hatch on top to fill it. Beautiful, intact condition, just tarnished. (I rather like the tarnish patina which will darken with time, but you may clean the silverplate - gently - so that it gleams, then wrap in aluminum foil, or it will simply tarnish again. It is silverplate, NOT silver, so every time you clean it, you wear down the finish.) The black handle is solid and solidly attached. The propellor spins. The wheels do NOT. There are
    NO
noticable dents or scratches, just tarnish. I have not found any maker or production marks on the item. [See photos.]
Pottery Barn sold these in the 2000's for .00.  They are not available now.
The 10" picture wire, noticeable in picture two, is neatly looped around the handle and will easily move to the top center of the handle so that you may hang the teapot as if it is flying. I left it there, to make it convenient for the buyer to hang.  To remove it, just clip it off.  It did not come with the teapot.
