    Description

Simpson Hall Miller Victorian Silverplate Tea Set. Footed set. Treble plate. Floral and rose banding around the top and bottom. The feet are adorned with large blooming flowers. Arrow tip like finials. Decorative cut engraving of flowers and round Laurel mirrors or frames. Heavy and substantial. Nice aged condition. No monograms. Hinged lids on pots move well. Light tarnished discoloration (see photos). All clean on the insides with light discoloration. The feet are not completely level and wobble a tad. The previous owner used a cream cleaner and never fully removed it. I have done my best to clean it up better. Please forgive the spots I have missed.
Teapot 12” tall, handle to spout is 8 3/4”.
Creamer 7 1/8” tall, 5” from handle to spout
Sugar 10 1/4” tall and 7” across. There is a small dent on one side. And the flourish on one handle is not fully extended due to a likely due to being dropped.
Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. was a cutlery and silver hollowware manufacturer in Wallingford, Connecticut, founded in 1866. By c. 1895, the company operated large factories in Wallingford and Montreal, Canada.
