Titanium UDL 25 Synthetic Underlayment

Description

Titanium UDL-25 is a highly engineered coated woven synthetic material that offers a reliable secondary layer of protection under all types of primary sloped roofing material. Unlike felt, its recyclable polyolefin construction doesn't expand or contract and is inert to mold and mildew growth. UDL25 is 100% synthetic and unlike oil saturated felt is unaffected by water. It is engineered to lay flat and will not buckle or wrinkle when exposed to temperature and moisture fluctuations on the roof. Unlike oil saturated felts, UDL25 does not dry out, leach oils in the heat, nor does it become stiff, difficult to roll or crack in the cold.
UDL25 is designed for use under asphalt and synthetic shingles, metal roofing, and cedar shakes. Titanium UDL25 must be covered by primary roofing within 180 days of application. Before installing, make sure the deck surface is dry and free of debris. For slopes 2:12 and higher, UDL25 is to be laid out horizontally (parallel) to the eave with the printed side up. The use of a roofing hammer, hatchet hammer, pneumatic air or gas driven fastener tool is acceptable.
