Victorian Meriden B Company 1877 Silverplate Tea Set Lion Emblem M or W Monogram

This listing is for 4 piece silver plated tea set that you see in the photos. I purchased it at an estate sale where I was not told its history. Some research tells me that it was probably made sometime between 1866 and 1898. I think that the 1877 mark below the Meriden B Company mark is probably a model number. I leave it to the buyer to decide how old it is.
I am not sure what all of the pieces are for so I leave it to the buyer to decide what they are. The monogram looks like an M or a W to me. A lid might be missing but I think maybe that piece never had a lid. I am guessing that the face on the handle and the spout is a lion's face.
The condition is much like you see it in the photos. There is some tarnish. Otherwise, the silver plate appears to be in excellent condition. I do not see any dents or heavy scratches. Some greenish white oxidation or maybe silver polish can be seen inside the spout of the teapot. The insides of the pieces are as shown. I have not tried to clean this set. Otherwise, this set is fine and as shown. My photos should give you a good idea of the general condition.

Please know that the lighting in my photos is uneven and that there might be shadows or reflections. The colors on my monitor look close to but not exactly like the actual colors. Different monitors may show different colors. I often say that an item measures or weighs “close to” because in my opinion no measurements are exact and some things are difficult to measure.

I frequently purchase signature delivery for my more valuable packages because of the possibility of them being stolen off of a porch or damaged by weather. I often but not always ship the same or the next day. Often, I have a double wall box custom made for larger items and that might result in a short delay. When I use packing peanuts, they are usually biodegradable. Sometimes, I use used boxes.
