Both sides are slightly indented as shown in the pictures. There are no monograms or visible repairs and the silver plate is in good condition as shown. The cover is tilted forward as shown in the picture and the hinge has a slight wobble but it secure. It stands about 12.5 inches tall and measures 9 inches wide from the handle to the spout.

The mark on the base is B. J. Mayo, Newark, NJ. The company began manufacturing silver plate in c1862 and continued until they company was dissolved in 1906. The base of the tea pot is marked Quadruple Plate and has a patent date which looks to be c1886. The coffee pot features a wheat design on the handle and each of the legs.
