  • Condition: Victorian silver plate aesthetic tea pot by Rogers Smith & Company from the late 1800's. The coffee pot features highly detailed high relief embossed or repousse designs on both sides and Victorian faces on the front of each of the tall feet. I believe the teapot was possibly manufactured during the 1870's at the height of the production of patterns which used deer, faces and lions for the details on the feet, finials and handles. After the early 1800's many makers discontinued the tall stately legs as shown on this teapot. It stands about 14 inches tall and 8.75 inches wide. There is loss of silver plate and a few dings as shown in the pictures but still a very hard to find Victorian tea or coffee pot.
