A VERY DESIRABLE, ELEGANT, AND LARGE VICTORIAN SILVER PLATE COFFEE POT.
We are pleased to offer a very UNIQUE and an elaborately designed Victorian Silver Plate (Silverplate) Coffee Pot from our 40 Year Collection.  The Pot was manufactured
by The Meriden Britannia Company which was established in 1867.
The Pot is marked with the Meriden Britannia hallmark, patent applied for, and pattern #1887.
This beautiful Pot has a mat finish with highlights of contrasting bright silver.  The Victorian Coffee Pot reflects the Renaissance Revival movement design with etched flowers, leaves, and decorative patterns on the body.  The Spout and base are adorned with high relief vines and leaves.  The four legs come with Renaissance Soldier Heads.
This amazing design is unquestionably highly desirable due to the presence of the Jenny Lind Head on top of the handle.
Jenny Lind was actually born as Johanna Maria on October 1820 in Klara, Stockholm. She was a well known Swedish Nightingale Soprano Opera Singer. Very popular and well loved all over the world.
During the Victorian Era people were very proud to give and delighted to receive an item adorned with the Jenny Lind Head.
Please note this listing is for the Meriden Britannia Coffee Pot only. The Coffee Pot measures approximately 11" Tall, and 11" Wide from handle to spout.
Beside the normal wear due to age and use, the pre-owned Coffee Pot is in a well maintained and used condition.  The Pot is very clean with some very minor surface use marks and scratches.  It shows very minor use and wear inside, please see photos.
The silver coverage is great.  We could describe the condition as in good to excellent condition, and just gorgeous.  We have proudly displayed it in our Victorian Parlor Cabinet for years.  Don't miss this opportunity to own this highly desirable Coffee Pot.

We normally don't accept returns due to the amount of handling these 100 - 300 years old items will experience.  Antique items are sold as is, but if we agree to accept a return due damage or not as described, the shipping cost (to ship/return) will be absorbed by the buyer, and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund due to recent eBay/Buyer abuse experienced.  So please review the item, photos, and ask any and all the necessary questions prior to buying.
Shipping is normally USPS Parcel Ground.  We, also, made USPS priority shipping available, if you would prefer priority.
If you prefer other shipping options/carriers, please advise prior to payment.  We are very flexible.  We may need to substitute UPS/FedEx Ground for USPS Parcel Ground at the time of shipment, because it may be a faster delivery or other reasons.  Sometimes when possible, we will substitute USPS Priority to assure prompt arrival.  Please let us know, if you have an issue with the UPS/FedEx Ground substitution.   Thank you.
