The Encyclopedia of American Silver Plate Manufactures lists the company as being organized in c1875 and was sold to the Wallace and Sons Silver Company in 1879. The tea pot is lovely with exceptional silver plate and is clean and usable on the inside. There are no breaks or repairs and the handle and hinge are both sturdy. There is an etched design on both sides and a monogram on the upper portion of the rim. It could be 4 letters in Victorian script but I am unable to read the Victorian script. It stands about 12.5 inches tall and 9 inches wide while on the base and 9.5 inches tall resting on a flat surface. The liquid capacity is about 32 ounces.
