Offered for sale is this beautiful five piece silverplate tea set with two handled waiter tray in the popular plain "Regent" pattern from Reed and Barton. The set consists of tray, coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl, and creamer. No monogram. Mid 20th Century.
The coffee pot is 9 inches tall
The teapot is 8 inches tall
The covered sugar bowl is 6 inches tall
The creamer stands 5 inches tall
The oval waiter tray is 26 1/2 inches long across the handles by 17 1/2 inches wide
The pieces have "Reed and Barton" and "5600" marks. The set weighs 14 lbs (shipping weight 20 lbs).
Condition: Very good overall, gently used. Nice heavy set.
No dents or deformations, clean interiors.
Some slight wear on the silverplate around the widest part of the bulbous body. An extra word has been removed from the mark on the teapot and coffee pot, as shown.
